Italian Beef Ala Karen
Approx. 5 lbs chuck roast
1 T. oregano
1 T. garlic salt
1 T lemon juice
1 /8 tsp. cayeene pepper
5 bay leaves
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 Cups water
Put meat into roasting pan (or crock pot) whole.
Add all spices and water.
Cook 350 degrees until very tender.
Take meat out of juices and shred with forks.
Return to juices and cook for 1/2 to 1 hour more.
Serve to hungry hoarde.
